MATATU CULTURE AND STREET FOOD TOUR

The guide will meet you at the meeting point outside Hilton Hotel at Nairobi city center and will take you to the Matatu terminus where you will catch a 40 minute Matatu ride from the City Center to Umoja a middle class populated estate, during the matatu ride you will get a chance to enjoy the loud music, take pictures and get to mingle with some of the locals on the ride. At arrival in Umoja the guide will take you on a 20 minute walking tour through a busy market, while stopping from time to time to introduce to you the street food available. The guide will also take you to a local hotel where you will further explore Kenyan traditional cuisine such as ugali, chapati and sukuma wiki and many others at your own expense. After that you will be guided back to the terminus to catch another matatu from Umoja back to the city center, to the same meeting point outside Hilton hotel where your tour will end.
